What to expect?

The Journey Home is a one-day, four-session course hosted by Charity United Methodist Church. It’s designed to help individuals and families prepare spiritually, emotionally, and practically for life’s final chapter. Through guided conversation and a take-home “Journey Binder,” participants will explore faith, grief, legacy planning, funeral preparation, wills, and more—all through the lens of Christian hope.

Come as you are! There’s no dress code—just wear something comfortable for a day of learning, conversation, and reflection. Whether you’re in jeans or Sunday best, you’ll be warmly welcomed.

Because it's better to be prepared. This event will help you have important conversations, put plans in place, and feel more at peace about the future. Whether you're planning for yourself or helping someone else prepare, this day will equip you with clarity and confidence.

This course is for everyone. Whether you’re a young adult just starting to plan, a caregiver supporting aging parents, or someone simply seeking peace and preparedness—The Journey Home is for you. You don’t have to be a member of Charity Church or any church at all. All are welcome.

We hope to see you!
